Dark brown pour, thin tan head. Very unremarkable dry stout but not bad either. Dry, roasty, light coffee. SDalkoholic (2408) - Linda Vista, California, USA - SEP 4, 2012
Bottle from Fresh and Easy: Poured a dark brown color accompanied with a soft pillow of tanned colored head. Aroma is apparent with moderate amount of roasted malts along with the scent of chocolate milk. The flavor leans in the direction of roasted malts but has a taste of lactose and burnt sugar that isn’t exactly the richest stouts I’ve come across. dwyerpg (6365) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - AUG 17, 2012
The first drinkable beer in the bunch. Maybe the strong roasty malts of the stout mask the bad water flavor. On the heavy side in body considering the low alcohol content. Drinkable at least. bb (9697) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 4, 2012
Bottle. Dark mahogony beer with a brown head. Roasty and toasted malt aroma with light chocolate. Chocolate and light coffee flavor with light toastiness. Medium bodied. Roast and toast lingers with chooclate and backing hops. bnoel09 (588) - Elk Grove, California, USA - MAY 18, 2012
Poured from 12oz bottle into an English pint glass. Dark brown/black with a thick, sudsy brown head. Aroma is chocolate and roasted malt. Flavor matches the aroma well, mostly chocolate malt with some nice roasted character and a little ash. A little thin and overly carbonated with some slight metallic notes. Decent stout for the money, but could be much better if the palate was cleaned up a bit.
