Crisp and fruity with a good citrus grapefruit finish - a stinger beer so would not be a session drink

375 ML can
Clear orange amber color. Bright white head that lingers to a thick collar.
Nose is soft pine, citrus, toffee. Good nose but a bit soft.
taste is toffee and tropical marmalade. Good balance. Tropical fruit, citrus and pine finish. Shorter hop bite than expected. Dry finish.
Needs to linger a bit more but a solid beer. oldbatchman (42) - - DEC 3, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2017 Pours from the can a hazy orange with a thick and persistent head. Tropical fruit aromas abound with hints of lychee and fresh cut grass. Resins and marmalade dominate with a spicy aftertaste that has just a hint of alcohol burn. A wonderful beer that will surely keep me coming back for more. One to savour. Pine, floral hops, wet straw, grass, hay. Hazy gold, small, creamy, beige head. Light bitter. Sweet grain and cereal malts, candied citrus fruits, orange, marmalade, pine, straw, grass, floral hops, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Decent IPA. Bottle from BWS, Sydney. Text book perfect modern new world IPA. Firm with good length, good malty chops early with some toffee and a little spicy fizz. Broadens progressively through the palate but never flabby. Really in very good shape.

Can from Slow Beer, Fitzroy, Melbourne. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is malt, grassy citrus hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a crisp fresh dry malt, tropical fruit light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. M_Sack (808) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - SEP 7, 2017
Can. Gold, off white head. Aromas of passionfruit, orange and bread malt backing. Moderate bitterness throughout palate with flavours of grapefruit, hint of pine, pepper, bready malts. Well balanced and quaffable, but like all of Balter's beers they lack much interest. macca147 (829) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - AUG 22, 2017
375ml can. Pours a hazy orange gold with a thin white head. Aroma: biscuity malt, pine, citrus, grapefruit, tropical notes. Pleasant aroma. Taste: pine, citrus and biscuity malt dominates. Tropical flavours as well. Well balanced. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Moderate bitterness. A little bit boozy at the back end. Dangerously easy drinking, would not pick that it is 6.8%. A good solid IPA. mkel07 (6574) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - AUG 9, 2017
