One of my favorite Baltikas. These beers have the feature of sweetness and this one, well, is less sweet than B0. It has a sweet aroma, most of all cereal. It has a good smoothness when drinking it and it has a good body with a nice blond color.

I liked this one, but I like lagers. I think that lagers generally get low ratings because people are looking for complexity etc., and lagers are not about that. Lagers are pure and clean, and that's it. That's what they are supposed to be, and that's all there is. You have to be good to know a good lager. In my opinion a true lager taster has the most refined palate of all. And this one fits the bill just fine.

Quite a reasonable lager, this makes up for my previous bad experience with Russian beer. It's a picture-perfect gold with a nice head, and the hops come through in a rather Czech way.

Good vodka is something I’d expect from the Russians, but good beer wasn’t, until I tried this. You have to finish the whole bottle to appreciate it though, because the finish is better than the start somehow. It’s a sweetish beer, but pretty well-balanced, and light enough to be enjoyed by itself, but also the body allows for consumption with food or tobacco. It’s not the absolutely best I’ve had, but pretty good beer for sure!

This truly is a happy beer. Call me crazy, but if you’re gonna give this beer an 11%--go drink something else and send your bottles to me. A very complex, yet subtle brew, this beer is golden with a quickly dissipating white head. It has a very floral nose with a golden strawy taste, mixed with hops and malts. A very nice beer--quite quaffable. I could drink many of these and would, if they were available in Birmingham or Memphis. Great beer!

500ml can. One most crystal clear good lager i have drank ever. It has sweet malt, light hoppy bitter at the end of all gulp and light body, but not watery. Very good and not pricy. I think much more undrikable brutal beers get more higher points...

Surprisingly good! Well carbonated, no skuky scent (considering the bottle’s best before date was February 2006) the bottle I drank had a smooth, dry malty taste to it. Recommended ice-cold.

Fairly smooth and good taste.............................................
