leebotton (406) - Bristol, Somerset, ENGLAND - DEC 13, 2015
Crystal clear golden yellow with a fine but small head. Aroma is light caramel with a touch of spice and a little breadiness. Very, very subtle diacetyl / butter which is actually very good at this level. Really full bodied for this style, presumably from the maltose which for me makes it great. Gives it a real full character which actually works very well against the bakcdrop of very light malt, subtle butter and spice. Whilst the flavour has a sense of sweetness the finish is still very crisp and dry. There are a lot of low scores being given to this beer and I cant understand that. These people must be missing something because this is an excellent lager indeed. Clean, easy, crisp and yet still so characterful. Possibly nay probably my favourite lager.

foyle (416) - Wyoming, USA - NOV 6, 2015
Sampled from 16.9 oz bottle in pint glass Appearance: a 1" white head drops quickly with moderate lacing. Color is clear pale straw with plenty of streaming carbonation. Aroma: lightly toasted barley and some grassy/floral hops Mouthfeel: light and crisp with a mostly dry finish. Flavor: light malt sweetness is the dominate flavor, there is some hop presence for balance but quite mild. Overall: good, but nothing particularly exciting here.
