A traditional dark beer based on old recipes. "Baltika" brews this beer with the best dark and light malts with the addition of superior hop types and a special strain of yeast. Crystal-clear water and the secret touch of "Baltika"s brewers make this a beer of unsurpassable quality.
The ingredients are water, caramel malt and burnt roasted malt, maltose syrup and hops. 17

I wasnt expecting such a heady game-changing beer as what I got, especially on the other side of the earth. As black as sin with no head at all (a minus in my book). Aromas of dark chocolate mud cake, rich caramel, carob (I hate carob), cinnamon, lush vanilla extract and dates. Its there for the taking in terms of smell. Flavour is an exercise in similarity with aroma but with a reminder of a much richer background. It has a great deal going on with the overall impression being one of rich, sweet dessert beer that is going to send my blood-sugar haywire. Is it worth it? Probably. Probably.

Black colour with ruby shinings and a medium beige head that quickly fades. Aroma has roasted malts, chocolate and coffee. Medium body. Taste follows the aroma, with roasted malts and coffee up front and a good coffee background. A bit watery. Slightly bitter aftertaste.

It looks promising with light brown lasting foam. Good aroma of coffee and dark chocolate is the first impression. The taste is also coffee and dark bitter chocolate.

Big bottle. Served from fridge into tulip. Appearance is pretty dark with a one finger off white soft head. Aroma is malty with notes of raisins. Taste is moderately sweet with very little bitterness. Malty with notes of chocolate and toast. A medium to full bodied beer. Somewhat thicker texture. Average carbonation. Long fairly smooth finish. Unique and enjoyable. Received from friend, therefore no idea on availability.

bottle from paradise market. #1 beer in russia so i had to try it. stuck on some netflix and had one last night. pours almost black with a creamy tan head. aroma of chocolate, caramel, coffee. taste is a nice balance of malts, a wee bit of booze, mocha coffee, licorice, a light burnt bitterness as you keep drinking. no fizz so its real smooth but its slightly thin and oily. not bad at all but nothing wild
