A traditional dark beer based on old recipes. "Baltika" brews this beer with the best dark and light malts with the addition of superior hop types and a special strain of yeast. Crystal-clear water and the secret touch of "Baltika"’s brewers make this a beer of unsurpassable quality.
The ingredients are water, caramel malt and burnt roasted malt, maltose syrup and hops. 17°

bottle. heard some good things about this beer. but tasting it was a "bitter" dissapointment. the bitterness did not let any flavour come out. aroma was non existent. aftertaste was agreeable.

0.5 l bottle from Alko Ympyrätalo, Helsinki. Appearance is brown with a great head. Taste is motor oil, i.e. oily and sweetish. Great, not a bitter dry stout but malty and smooth. Lots of ABV too, as this is real Russian Baltic Porter.

ferjho224 (44) - MEXICO - JAN 13, 2018
Pours completely dark, with a frothy tan head, medium retention, medium body, chocolate aroma, sweet chocolate flavour with some coffee and light bitterness.

Vells (1980) - Rīga, LATVIA - JAN 8, 2018
Quite decent roasted malts, some caramel, dark chocolate, bit dried fruits, light licorice. Moderate sweet with moderate to light bitterness, quite dry finish. Decent

Nebraska's recent weather is severe even by Midwestern standards, so a lineup of several Baltic beers seemed perfectly appropriate. This was the first Baltic Porter that we enjoyed, and at $2.99, it was easily the least expensive. Impressively, it wasn't overshadowed by the other Porters even though it was a fraction of what the others cost. This pours near-black. Toasty nose with malty sweetness. Charred cream, toasted malt, and dark fruit flavors. It's hearty but not heavy - balanced very well. In all, Baltika 6 is totally satisfying and surprisingly complex.
