bottle froma local Russian supermarket. Clear golden colour, large white head. Malty nose. Full-bodied. Rather sweet malty body with an aromatic hoppy finish, resulting in a bitter-sweet character (with emphasis on sweet). As the beer gets warmer, the hops get "dusty". Quite nice, perhaps a bit too much on the sweet side. zach8270 (4021) - Henrietta, New York, USA - JAN 6, 2010
(bottle - 330 ml) Clear gold pour with a soapy white head. Aroma is light and grassy with some corn, malts, and dry hops. Flavor begins slightly sweet with a dry and malty middle. Some bitter hops and wet hay come through near the end with a dry and sweet finish. Drinkable and really nice when ice cold. Dogbrick (14290) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 6, 2010
Sample at the "From Russia With Suds" tasting on 01/02/10: The beer is a clear bright yellow color with a medium foamy white head that recedes steadily. Sticky patches of lacing on the glass. Biscuit malt, straw and mild hops in the nose. Light body with flavors of sweet toasted malt and mildly peppery hops. The finish is clean and malty with a lightly grassy hops aftertaste. Below average overall. hellbilly (3306) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JAN 4, 2010
bottle with a production date of 7/13/2009 consumed 12/29/2009.
clear pale yellow colored pour with a clingy fluffy white head.
the nose is really sweet and grainy... alcohol (5.4%??) and a ton of florals.
the flavor is the same... with added sugar, wet musty grass and grain.... it’s rather like drinking sweet grainy heineken.
the body borders full because of the sweet sticky mouth feel. 5/3/5/2/10/2.5 MoritzF (10199) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JAN 4, 2010
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Slightly sweet and dusty strawy malty nose with a tinge of acidity and grassy hops. Slightly sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. One-dimensional strawy malty taste with grassy notes; dry malty and slightly grassy finish with a tinge of bitterness. Boring but drinkable. 04.I.10

Bottle from the LCBO- Sparkling gold pour, topped with a foamy bleached white cap. Nose of grainy malts, mild grassy hop, a bit skunky to be honest. Tastes sweet, of pale malts, sharp grassy hop, a bit metallic. A bit of a bite to the finish. Overally pretty bland. Cirrhosis (1283) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 21, 2009
What the hell is up with this cap? A peel off pull tab bottle cap!!! I like it!!! gold in color pillowy white crown. Smells exactly the way you’d think it should Euro skunk crap lager with a taste to match. Some notable hops. Sweet apple lingers in the after taste, malts are sweet, dark and bready. Not as bad as I thought it would be but still not all the yummy. jeremytoni (3085) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - DEC 20, 2009
From a bottle poured clear golden color with a fair amount of head. Grassy malty flavor with a lingering finish. grimreaperguru (264) - santee, California, USA - DEC 15, 2009
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2010 Pours a very pale yellow with a fizzy short lived neon white head.Aroma is a subtlest skunky hay.Flavor is real bland. It only had a slight taste of hay and it was shunky. The body was watery and it had a metallic finnish.I’ve had worst beers then this but at least I could taste something. fonefan (52351) - VestJylland, DENMARK - DEC 15, 2009
