500 ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours a yellow gold with just the slightest bit of cloudiness. Head is white and sudsy but fades quickly. Aroma is very weak with just a hint of straw. Flavor is one dimensional--light bananas in a light corn syrup. Mouthfeel was a bit thin and watery with an after-film, the carbonation was light. Finish is light and dry with bananas. Overall, I expect much more in the way of bold flavors from a fine hefe, and while this is a good product it is not a great one.
Bottle from Alko. Pours hazy orange with a white head, lasting. Aroma has banana and wheat. Flavor has wheat, banana and spiciness. solid beerstar88 (587) - Bavaria, GERMANY - MAY 8, 2017
Pours with a good amount of white fluffly foam. Color is cloudy typical wheat beer orange. The appearance is very attractive and symmetric. Fruity aroma has soap, banana, hops, slight malt aroma. A very authentic and balanced expression of wheat beer aroma. The only downside is a slight burnt plastic aroma. Palate is very well balanced although it’s not "in the middle", but rather as a slope from dry to oily. That is, the palate is balanced, but it’s not "statically", but rather it’s balanced in a slope way. There’s nice slight dryness so that the beer is not too "moist". Taste has banana, some hops spread to the mouth adding slight dryness, slight bubble gum "edges", some maltiness on the tip of the tongue, hazelnut chocolate in after taste. A very smooth taste that has nothing "edgy" about it. It’s a good presentation of a German-style wheat beer and it’s lighter and fresher than, say, Fransiskaner. Should be served cold enough. ordybill (1732) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - APR 27, 2017

Good Wheat ale (Witbier), but again with Baltika, not one of the best. fidelis83 (2400) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - MAR 16, 2017
Hazy light old gold with a tall, creamy off white head. Aroma is super doughy, active yeast, a little sweet wheat, bubblegum, a touch of lemon. Flavor is sweet wheat, a little dishwater, clove and odd salinity. Light to medium, creamy to slick body, light, softish carbonation. Not really very good. edgallow (4146) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 16, 2017
