Clear, light gold appearance with a white, average size head. Muted aroma dominated by vegatables. Slightly sweet taste with not much else going on in that department. Not skunked while chilled, but the last taste as it warmed a bit signaled trouble. Alcohol packed a bit of a punch as it finished. Fortunately, it was inexpensive. Ya, I chose this for the high alcohol content and it definitely has an alcohol burn AND bite to it. Other than that, it was kinda skunked with some cron and rice ? flavors... nothing too exciting. Darkover (1542) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 5, 2005
Light yellow with a big white head. Aroma similar to BMC. Flavor of very sweet malt and some alcohol. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 30, 2005
Sampled in germany. Very pale gold color with a minimal head. Good strong pale malt backbone with some wierd herbal and grassy hints. My notes say that an alcohol presence is noticed throughout the beer. Papsoe (25060) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 29, 2005
UPDATED: JUL 20, 2008 (Bottle 50 cl) Golden with a small but rather creamy and very white head. Pronounced alcohol but just about no aroma. Just a very strong lager. 200604

Golden colour with a white head. Malty aroma with hints of dough and alcohol. malty and grainy flavor with a sharp alcohol finish. jerohen (2348) - Bussum, NETHERLANDS - APR 24, 2005
This wasn’t my pick, but of course i wanted to sample it. Typical malt liquor, highly alcoholic, sweet and lacking bitterness. RichJ7 (1175) - Cullman, Alabama, USA - APR 13, 2005
Eh ... not as bad as I expected from the reviews below. Basically tastes like an American macro on steroids. Clear gold in color, small white head; slightly sour malt aroma ... sweet malt, corn and alcohol taste-wise; a touch of hop bitterness on the end ... seems like a mere afterthought, though. Meh. BrockLanders (780) - Panama City, Florida, USA - APR 9, 2005
Bottle...although I don’t think draught would’ve helped matters much. Poured out a very pale yellow-gold...minimal head. Skunk-malts dominate the aroma....and they got skunkier as it warmed in the glass. The flavor was dominated by sweet malts, some bitterness, but I fear it was due to something other than hops. You can sense the alcohol...there was nothing else there to mask that. Yep...EuroColt45. Blah. frankenkitty (2012) - Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA - APR 5, 2005
Bottle poured a golden bodied beer with a lasting, frothy, white head. Lightly malted, stagnant aroma that was tinny and medicinal. Brandy aromas while warming. Non-descript sour, stale flavor. Left me with a confused/annoyed look on my face.
How ironic... I gave it an overall 9.
