A strong lager beer with a taste close to classic lager varieties. The flavor is light and there is a suggestion of malt, together with sweetish notes and mild hops bitterness.
Ingredients: water, light barley malt, maltose syrup and hops.
Produced since 1998. 16.5°

This beer is very strong with an alcoholy taste and palate which is actually a preference of mine. I got the impression that this strong beer was heavily geared towards the Russian palatte and that they would appreciate its strong vodka overtones. I liked it alot. It was light brown with an average head and a strong alcohol with good beer flavorings.

Old skool strong sweet lager; a product of a bygone era perhaps? Used to be plenty of options 10yrs ago :) Sweet with seductive ABV kick.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2017 A weak white head typical of strong beers. The body is golden yellow and clear. It smells sweet and nutty. It’s surprisingly good considering the strength. There’s a slight metallic taste towards the end. Nothing to write home to momma about.

UPDATED: JUL 24, 2017 Larnaka 22/7 2017. 50 cl bottle from Chrispan Minimarket. Slightly modernistic label with there coins representing water, malt and hops. A little "extra" to signify the fairly High ABV. Pours clear yellow with small bubbly white head. Head disappears quite quickly leaving what could be an urine sample after long nights sleep. Aroma is sourish and with intense notes of alcohol. A little sulphur. Quite unforgiving. Soft carbonation and medium thick palate. Flavor is heavy sweet followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is alcohol and bitter burnt rubber. Not a pleasure - but if you want to get plastered this is certainly one way to get there.

UPDATED: JUL 17, 2017 Flaske.

Poured from a 16 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a clear light golden color with a small white head. The aroma is faint grass. The taste is fairly watery with a large alcohol bite.

0,5l Flasche. Dunkle goldgelbe Farbe. Wenig Schaum.

Pours deep golden to amber body with a frothy off white head. Aroma is malty, biscuit, caramel with slight hop nuance. Taste is faintly bitter underneath a sweet malty, caramel strong alcoholic dominant taste.

Mister_Li (1413) - GERMANY - JUN 8, 2017
