On the nose I detected the faint scent of Hobo. The beer had only two flavors, alcohol and water. This beer pretty much sucked on all fronts except one. I am a soldier who just got into the kygyck republic and this is what they serve us. It is almost 9% so it helps to get you drunk. Avoid this disgrace if you have the chance.

Der Antrunk ist ssslich, derb alkoholischer Krper der keinerlei andere Geschmacksnoten zulsst. Vom Hopfenextrakt schmeckt man fast nichts, da nur Fusel und Ssse schmeckbar sind.

UPDATED: APR 3, 2017 Bottle at Erzbierschof MC. Pours clear pale yellow, looks thin. Aroma is candy sweetness, dough, some flowers, also butter. Body is medium, sweet and oily and sticky, low carbonation, some banana. Okay, but not super harmonic.

Clear gold pour with a two finger, fluffy, bright white head. Aroma is loaded acetylaldehyde, sweet old grains, oxidation and a hint of spiciness - maybe malt, or maybe hops. Flavor is pretty much the same, add in a little toasted corn and some spicy and medicinal phenols. Medium body, slick on entry, then dry with a metallic bite, light to medium carbonation. Not, great, pretty sloppy, basically malt liquor.

Bottle from CCCP in South Ealing, smells a bit dodgy with hints of sweetcorn and green apple, palate is strong, malty and warming with a decent noble hop bitterness. Its interesting to compare this with Hellerbock - quite a bit of similarity, yet theres also that Euro-Pils quality to it.

Kind of boozy, tastes like "ersch" (vodka-beer mix). A good beer if you want to get wasted, but not a taste to enjoy.

Pale gold, white head dissipates quickly. Malty/corny sweetness plus hard candy fruity sweetness. Surprisingly rich mouthfeel. Level of sweetness is unpleasant.

50th strong lager, dedicated to Dan Brown who needs to rate more filth. 500ml bottle. Pours dark gold with a medium head. Aroma is sweet rubbery orange. Taste has rubbery corn to start with orange on the finish. Some alcohol on the aftertaste.
