A: The pour is a very pale straw/yellow color with a thin layer of white foam.
S: Smells damp and moldy with some possible fecal notes. Rotting vegetables and a bit time corn aroma. Sickly sweet and cloying. Lots of butter, because we couldn’t have a truly excellent beer without that.
T: Cloying sugar and corn sugar. Oh goodness is this bad. Grape juice, cooked vegetables, butter, just awful. Some definite booze flavors, too.
M: Pretty heavy, unnecessarily so, with a moderate level of carbonation.

Bottle, 8%. Clear golden colour. Big stable rocky white head. Sweet flavour, quite peppery. Hint of marcipan in the finish. A standard east European strong lager. bhensonb (15985) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 4, 2007
Pretty much of a honey sweet corn aroma. Sturdy white head that left slight lacing. Bright gold color. Medium bodied, fizzy, almost creamy carbonation. It’s corny sweet, maybe a touch of honey. Instant heat. The hops must have gotten lost. There’s a light astringency, but the finish is not really dry. After awhile I can imagine there might have been some hop bitter. UPDATED: MAY 13, 2011 Re-rate 5/12/11: Bottle sample at a Baltika tasting. Thanks (or no thanks?) Keren. Pale clear golden. Aroma of alcohol and cereals. Flavor of sugar and alcohol. Light-bodied. Yuck. 2/2/2/2/3=1.1

Can. Yellow color with a medium, quickly-diminishing, white head. Grainy, malty aroma, with some alcohol. Flavor is cloying sweetness with lots of alcohol all the way from the beginning to the finish. Thin-bodied. I’m still very close to the 0.5l line of my glass, but a few sips of this stuff were already a bit too much. This is just awful. 3/2/2/1/4=1.2
Bottle at home in Mytishchi. Pours clear amber, nose is sweet toffee, caramel, taste is similar. Was probably actually not very good but couldn’t complain for 20p a bottle! Tmoney99 (15135) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 28, 2005
Bottle. Light amber hue with a medium white head that diminished quickly. Small aroma. Light to medium body. Small flavor with sweet malt with a small alcohol bite at the finish. Below average beer and malt liquor. HenrikSoegaard (14710) - Randers, DENMARK - JUL 4, 2005
Week head, bitter flavour, and a surprice citrus-finish. I was positively surpriced of this beer. Drake (14332) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 12, 2008
Bottle from Market Street Wine Shop Downtown Charlottesville. Very light and pale orangish yellow with a huge head, but little lacing or retention. Bitter, citrus and grassy aroma. This beer is freaking sweet... high fructose corn syrup kinda sweet. I guess the maltose syrup listed in the ingredients on the bottle is responsible for that. Cloying and overwhelming. Bleh.
