I totally agree with the "commercial descrition": sweetish, soft malt flavour, very pleasant and easy to drink. very light flavour for its 8 ABV. Golden colour with barely no foam. Light-medium body, pleasantly long finish. Indeed a worth-to-be-tried beer. Althought be careful: this is the first time I rate a beer here, so Iím not confident about the grades I gave.. Hazy straw pour with a lathery white head reminiscent of sea foam. The head lingers long, laces well, and never fades completely away. Aroma of sour green apples. Cereal malt taste up front just slightly overtaking the bittering hops. Very crisp and clean for the high ABV. Thereís a slight booziness that lingers on the palate. Very drinkable (which is scary!). Tasty and full bodied. This beer came highly recommended and it has really grown on me. I like it despite the low marks from other raters. Worth trying and enjoying while camping on a cool evening or with an appetizer course during a nice meal. Syzzer (647) - Oregon, USA - JUL 6, 2012
Slightly darker yellow color. Interesting sweet yeast intro. Nice tamed floral sweetness that lingers. A surprisingly really good beer noelcb (271) - Toledo, Ohio, USA - AUG 26, 2005
This grew out of a partnership between Efes and Baltika. So this is similar to Efes Extra, a very good strong lager. Pours pale yellow like a good pils. Great foamy white head, fades slowly with some nice lace. Aromas of alcohol, apple, yeast. Tastes of apple, light hops, sweet fruit and malt. Good all-around lager (by the way, itís bottom fermented). Iíd have it for a daily drinker -- beats hell out of Bud and Miller. SanfordBrewer (1574) - Sanford, Florida, USA - MAY 23, 2010
lucent gold, thin white head, sticky medium body, very high co2.

aroma: sherry, bit of herbal hops, adjunct notes.
T1= bright fruit, carbonic acid, hint of sherry.
T2= flash of lambic acidity, flat cardboardy malt, fairly strong sherry note through the back, lots of co2 on the tongue with some carbonic acid harshness, faint herbal hop note.
T3= sticky adjunct (corn oil), alcohol warmth, hints of sherry.
Tf= a lot fruitier, a bit more herbal hop presence, a subtler sherry note.
sherry notes make me wonder about oxidation, but this bottle is only 10 months old, and is still 2 months before itís best by date. the carbonation is rather harsh at first, but as the co2 mellows out, many subtle flavors start to emerge. the flavors to me, while not fantastic when drinking this beer by itself, offer great pairing possibilities with some rich and roasty foods. the high co2 and alcohol give this a lot of palatal impact and cutting power. alcohol remains the prominent flavor contributer throughout, but this beer certainly gets better and better as it warms, and releases a lot of subtle complexity and nuances.
Pours a pale but rich gold with a frothy and very lacy snow-white head. Smells of sweet pale malt, very faint grassy hops.
Hops are a bit more pronounced in the taste but thereís a good amount of alcohol heat here too. Keeps the beer on the dry side although there is considerable sweetness from the malt. Mouth is semi-sweet with a dry herbal aftertaste. Warming alcohol in the belly. A good drinker. Decent malt liquor style beer. ausleerenstein (8) - knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 30, 2009 does not count

Pours a macro looking yellow with a white head that lasts longer than expected. Smells like "Kick Axe", "Axe Head", or any other cheap ass malt lick-her you can think of: sweet with marshmallow notes and rotting fruits.
Actually doesnít taste half bad. Tastes like watered down malt lick-her. This was actually easy to chug. At $1.89 for a 51 ounce bottle (at West Allis Liquor & Tobacco, 7218 West Greenfield Avenue, West Allis, WI) Iím naming this the best alcohol delivery system for the money. @ 8% alcohol 1 bottle is like 7 regular 12 ounce beers. Where are you getting 7 beers for $1.89? There is cheaper beer out there (the before mentioned malt liquors and Earthquake) but they donít go down as smooth as this.

Bottle shared by robert at SL. I hope this is the right beer.... I see some terrible scores and I thought this was a nice lager from mother russia. Almost clear yellow in color. Nice head that stuck around. Taste is very clean and crisp. Reminded me of a german lager because of its soft water. Light in texture easy to drink. I actually enjoyed this. Thanks Roberto!
