$1.79 500ml bottle pours a clear golden color with a transient white head and only a little lacing. Smells like a malt liquor. Aroma is quite different: corn, hay, and alcohol. Taste is neither bitter nor sweet, but has an unforunate astertaste that reminds me of rubber. Medium body and lively carbonation made this one take longer to drink than I thought. Not a good beer, but it serves its purpose. My rating would be even lower if it were either more expensive or in a can from an big American brewery.

500ml can into a pint glass. Pours a very slightly hazy golden yellow with a thin fizzy head. Poor head retention and no lacing. Smells like rotten apple juice. Very citrusy but not in a good way. Some alcohol comes through as well. The taste is not very good either. Very sweet and fruity. A little bit of bread up front but it is quickly overtaken by a nasty, sweet, apple citrus. Alcohol in the finish. Overall, not a good beer. It is pretty hard for me to choke down and definitely not something I would buy again.

500 ml bottle, shared by my beerpal Egil. ABV is 8%. Golden colour, fluffy white head. Sweetish grassy aroma. Sweet and alcoholic flavour, lacks bitterness.

16.9 oz bottle to pint. Looks alright; a semi-transparent orangish-gold with white lacing. Smells of dough and stale apple cider. Tastes like it smells with a below average mouthfeel. Not good.

In abottle brought back from a soldier who deployed. Pours a golden yellow-orange color with very little head. Sweet malty aroma. Aromas of leather and cereal too. Taste is very syrupy, thick malt. Very sweet. I don’t like it. It’s like it didn’t finish fermenting. The finish leaves a malt syrup taste that lingers.

Drank from a stein. I appreciate the alcohol strength, but this is kind of nasty on the aftertaste.

sweet malts, murky dough, bready in a bad way... no hops? taste is far to carbs are too light to hide anything and the finish is horribly thicky sweetish and old...

Had worse.....but that was back in college. I bought this beer because it was right next to Chimay and I thought what the heck. Aroma is high malt and sweet, appearance is clear gold with a thin white head, taste is heavy malt, sweetness, and a bit of grass,. Finishes dry with little linger. This beer hides the alcohol extremely well but overall is bad. I do not look forward to the hangover tomorrow.
