Another Russian beer with a Kestrel Super-like character. It looks anemic and has a light, sweet taste. All alcohol and no flavour.

i'm not much of a baltika fan, or a russian beer fan for that matter. this actuallt had a pleasant full hoppy finish but was way too sweet in the middle to be enjoyable to drink

Super pale yellow hue. Smells like heineken. White head which clings around for the whole beer. Tastes like an american malt liquor, nothing special at all. It will getcha drunk, but thats all about its good for. Poopie.

UPDATED: MAY 26, 2003 "Baltika Extra" was the name on my label. How in the world do they get 8% alcohol content in this "brew"? Well, being that it's malt liquor, they probably just added vodka to beer and called it a night. I'm not impressed. Color is light and smells kinda like corn beer. Boring, with no complexity at all. It's passable, maybe as something that can go along with pizza or something, but that's about it. I'd drink it before other malt swill like Cobra or Magnum.

Has a light yellow color with some carbonation and a hop smell. Taste is somewhat acidic and has a alcohol flavor. Overall a strong brew that I didn't like too much.

Hazy yellow with a thin white head. Cereal aroma with some stale fruits. Fizzy palate, with some wateriness. I may be rating this a bit high, but for the price this is good beer.

Bottle in Tomsk, Siberia. This beer is terrible. It’s thin even for the amount of alcohol in it, pours a fizzy yellow, and tastes like a Bud with a shot of vodka added.

Bottle. Medium white head that became mostly diminishing, sparse lacing, fine-medium sized bubbles, carbonated, slightly hazy, and a straw yellow hue. Aroma and flavor were malty. Tingly mouthfeel. Medium body.

Ack! Ptooooie! How the f**k did I get the idea that there was something about Baltika that sounded good? Russian alcopop as far as I’m concerned. Malt likksky. Oily feeling and alcohol presntin’ like a mofo. A rare beer that I did not care to finish - and I’ve had some bad ones. In all due respect, it wasn’t quyitw as bad as I’ve described and I have had far worse, but this one just created it’s own foul mood in my mouth.

Clear, light gold pour w/ little head. Mildly hoppy aroma. Lightly carbonated mouthfeel and mild malty flavor with a tinge of hop bitterness. sweetish finish. A pretty light, mild beer for being labeled "Strong" and 8%.
