Light amber color. Medium head that dissipates slowly. Light cabonation. Taste is not as bad as some of the reviewers claim, but not very interesting either. Similarly, the high abv is not overwhelming, but is evident. Basically, a high octane light beer that is not bad, but not memorable either Psytron (2288) - Turku, FINLAND - NOV 24, 2012
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2012 Smell of malts and starch. Palle golden colour, white foamy head. Sweet, aroma of rum. Metallic aftertaste. MacBoost (1898) - Victor, New York, USA - APR 6, 2013
Bottle. This is a straight up malt liquor. Green apple, sugar. No appreciable hop character. Good for a buzz. Geiserich (4521) - Linz, AUSTRIA - NOV 7, 2013
Bottle: Golden color, off-white head. Light grassy, alcoholic, medical. Flavor is malty and sharp alcoholic. Sweetish, notes of ouzo, light bitter finish. mmahut (1859) - CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 31, 2013
(Bottle, thanks Anicka) Pours in clear pale body with medium, short lasting head. Aroma is light hay with caramel, brown sugar. The taste is overly sweet, syrupy like, with harsh bitterness in the after taste. Totally unbalanced. Body is full with good carbonation.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2014 Bottle 50 cl. Light golden color with big white frothy head. Taste is hay, sweet malts, caramel, grass, lemon, alcohol. The alcohol taste is too much present in this one while the other flavors not balancing it enough. Some bad kind of yeastiness in the finish. Finish was quit bad, reminds me little of "kilju" aftertaste ugh. Alengrin (5376) - BELGIUM - FEB 17, 2015
Tasted years ago as Baltika 9 Extra, bottle from a night shop. Medium, snow white head over a clear, pale golden blonde beer. Grainy and corny aroma, soapy, alcoholic; sweetish taste, adjuncts, grainy with a certain sourishness, metallic, bitterish finish more so because of alcohol than because of hops. Alcoholics’ fuel like most Eastern European pale strong lagers, but not even the worst in its style.

Bottle 0,5l, brewed on Ukraine. Clear yellowish body, medium white head. Aroma of malts and hops, sweet, nicely fermented. Taste is indifferent. Nothing. Only alcohol. Pretty much of them, it´s killing anything else (like sweet malty body – I need big portion of phantasy to feel it). Very weak body (especially for 16°), harsh alcoholic aftertaste. Ernest (7697) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 13, 2002
Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body
is clear light yellow. Aroma is light malty (grain, cereal), lightly
hoppy (herbs), lightly yeasty (soap), with hints of DMS and alcohol.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is
lightly sweet, lightly bitter, moderately acidic. Light to medium body,
watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Smells bad, too
sweet, sour finish, more alcohol than it can elegantly bear, etc. Ungstrup (37655) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 20, 2003
A very light yellow beer with almost no head. A light sweet aroma. The flavor is strong alcohol right from the beginning with a pretty sweet experience afterward and then ending suddenly - no bitterness to wrap of the flavor. Not a very pleasant example of a Barley Wine/Malt Liquor.
