Boasting a hefty 10.5% abv., Belgian Tramp is sticky sweet and boozy with rich flavors of dark fruit, roasted malt and caramel, a moderate hop bitterness, and a smooth, dry finish.

On draft 12/04/2017 at First Draft as High Water Belgian Tramp Tripel. Hazy deep honeyed golden hue under a thin foamy white head. Lovely sticky nose of figs and honey and candy sugar and light tones of stone fruit. Suprisingly smooth flavor of raisin and fig and firm Belgian pale malts and a nice cereal bran flavor with honey and a lingering candi sugar and bran flake flavor. Pretty nice and flavorful and unique.

Highwater version, but I guess it’s going here as they’re all aliased together :(
Sticky sweet aroma and flavor, with lots of candy sugar, spicy yeast, plum and cherry. Pretty big, but still enjoyed on a summer evening.

Keg (Craft, Islington)

Very outragious esters, some banana. Dirty and muddy and a bit off-putting. Full smooth palate. No 10% here. This is wacky. It’s quite exciting!

Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white covering.
Nose is caramel, grain, vanilla, yeast esters, marshmallow, light booze strains.
Taste comprises candyfloss, spice, sweet licks, caramel, Belgian yeast tones, dark fruit rinds.
Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with lightly warming alcohol.
Ok but doesn’t carry much depth ABV considered.

Craft near Tottenham Court Road. Keg. Very hazy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is somewhat viscous but also crispy. Strong dried fruits with lesser candy fruits. Blackberry jam! Ripe peach. Touch of alcohol spice. Smooth finish. Quite sweet and strong.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a cloudy toffee color with an off white head. The aroma is mildly spicy and floral with some apricot and over ripe fruit. The flavor is sweaty and full with toffee and fruit. Mild baking spice. Honey and toffee in a sweet and spicy finish. A bit cloying with a heavy body. Meh.

2013 SF beer week collaboration brew. Lots of local brewers involved on this one including High Water, Uncommon Brewers, Calicraft… and others. Tasted on tap at Tap 25 on the Calicraft night. It pours a dark amber color with an off white head. The aroma is bright fruity with some Belgian yeast spice, raisins, cherry and a touch of molasses. The flavor has beautiful notes of cherry, raisins, allspice and rum. Complex and super tasty!
