On tap at Banff Ave Brewing, pours a hazy orange with a medium white foamy head. Aroma reveals British hops and some herbal fungal notes. Flavour matches accordingly, with fruity hops, British malt, and again that fungal quality. Not overly pronounced on the hops, but well-enough balanced. Not very inspiring. Hazy dull tan, has a mellow hop fruitiness. Modest bitterness, biscuity malts, nice fruity character. Good APA really. Ferris (15265) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 31, 2013
Draft - Nice fresh grapefruit and some sweet tropical fruit. Cloudy orange with a thick head. Grapefruit and resin with a very muted bitterness. Not bad for a local, but could have a bigger punch.

Slightly hazy amber colour with average sized frothy white head.
Deliciously fruity bitter hoppy aroma with some maltiness.
Grainy malt and fruity/floral bitter hoppy flavour.
Bitter aftertaste that doesn’t last that long.
Bottle, brought fresh from the brewery by Parksy. Light orange amber, medium off white head. Aroma features nice coniferous hop notes, just not very aggressive. Palate features much the same, with a nice underlying caramel malt structure. The only problem with this brew, and it has been commented on before, is that it is just too light. Really this constitutes a nice APA, but is not assertive enough to fit an IPA style. Still a decent beer though.

A great dose of hops. Taste comes down in a great arch lasting over fifteen seconds. Iphonephan (6985) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - MAY 19, 2016
On draft at the brewery in Banff. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Citrus nose. Flavors of tropical fruits and grapefruit zest. One of the better IPA’s I’ve encountered so far in Alberta. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 28, 2016
The aroma is amazing. Tangerine and sweet. The taste let's you down. Bitter citrus and apricot. Dry. Not bad but the smell for me excited for more than the taste delivered. Had this as part of a flight at Banff Brewing. reebtogi (6267) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 9, 2011
Pint on tap at the brewery was listed at 5.4%ABV on the list of beers on their chalkboard in the bar. Pour was a clear golden color with a small white head which left behind a thin lacing. Light floral hop aroma with a hint of grains. Taste is a modest hoppy bitterness with an light sweetness underneath. Finish is very crisp and mouthfeel is decent. This was a surprisingly good IPA which was my favorite of this brewpub. TimE (5809) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAY 13, 2014
UPDATED: JAN 1, 2015 golden amber color. Very floral nose with a touch of tangerine. Thin body, lacks back bone, but drinkable moderate bitter finish. Stepping stone ipa, but enjoyable
