3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2012 At the brew pub in banff . Pours a light tan opaque color almost like apple cider. Aroma is floral with citrus notes and pine. This also has not much carbonation with flat head. Had time to reflect on this afterward, might have been too harsh. I was expecting more on the hop side to this, but at time was trying to rate whilst surrounded by good looking women. Anyway this deserves a higher rating on this re-rate, I say up the hop content and little higher abv you got a winner.
(Draught) Pours a clear copper body with a medium cream head. Aroma of grass, pine, weed, and herbs. Flavor of orange, grass, earth, caramel, and biscuit with a dry, moderately bitter finish. Deelc (7) - - AUG 1, 2017 does not count

Aroma: pine and resin, weak citrus notes.
Appearance: hazy golden color and white head.
Taste: medium pine bitterness, herbs, citrus notes, nice malty backbone, quite dry.
Palate: medium body and medium carbontion.
Overall: Quite decent IPA, drinkable. PZ (26) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 7, 2016
On tap at the brew pub on 2016-11-05. Brew pub was busy, and understaffed, but this was the second beer I had that was under-carbed. Nice hazy tan colour. Decent citrus flavour, with a lighter biscuity malt. Subdued hop aromas and flavour due to lack of carbonation. ryanhunter_4 (379) - Strathmore, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 3, 2016
22oz poured at hotel room in lake Louise. Pours orangish amber color with a thick white head. Smells like orange and floral hops. Tastes sweet with a slight (very slight) finish. Quite good.

Aroma doesn’t promise a fantastic beer, but the flavor is a pleasant surprise. Grapefruit and peach balance with a smoky, caramel richness. Microbrewery restaurants are often disappointing. Banff Brewing Co.’s IPA nails it! kaser (6430) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 28, 2016
The aroma is amazing. Tangerine and sweet. The taste let's you down. Bitter citrus and apricot. Dry. Not bad but the smell for me excited for more than the taste delivered. Had this as part of a flight at Banff Brewing. RobBestwick (982) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 21, 2016
On tap at the brewery. Lemon citrus aroma. Pours golden in colour with a small white head. Lemon and grapefruit citrus flavours. Some biscuit notes. Medium body. Long bitter finish. Iphonephan (7476) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - MAY 19, 2016
On draft at the brewery in Banff. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Citrus nose. Flavors of tropical fruits and grapefruit zest. One of the better IPA’s I’ve encountered so far in Alberta. DeanF (2647) - Quebec, CANADA - JAN 31, 2016
Very fruity aroma like grapefruit juice, still appetizing to my nose. Modest head and slightly foggy gold body. Nice mix of hops layered on the flavour, but mouthfeel is not oily enough. Still not a bad ipa.
