3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Sampled on draught at the brewery tap room in St Paul, Minnesota. Pours a clear golden amber colored brew with a decent sized off-white head that has some excellent retention and plenty of lacing. Aroma of bold earthy spice hops, some light golden and caramel malt, a hint of citrus and green grapefruit. Taste is medium to medium full bodied, well-balanced carbonation with flavors of spiced hops, caramel malts, and some green onion. Finish has a bold spicy hop bite at first with a lingering earthy spice bitterness that continues beyond the golden/caramel malt aftertaste. This is s borderline APA and summer IPA profile which would go well with American football and an italian sausage/pepperoni pizza.
Pale amber, well balanced, mild citrus and malts, very pleasant palate, medium body, perfect table beer.

Golden APA, with a prominent hop-centric bitterness and a touch of sweetness, but also some murky edges that undermined my enjoyment of it. Congratulations to Bang on their first anniversary, all the same. On tap at the Groveland Tap, St. Paul. Steve_0 (3745) - Denver, Colorado, USA - APR 18, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pour is hazy golden with a big white head and sticky lacing. Grassy, herbal hoppy, hay, biscuit, floral and cracker malty aroma. Taste is grassy, herbal, straw, some hay, biscuit, and floral hops with a medium bitter finish. Medium body with crisp carbonation. Pretty tasty. deyholla (11605) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JAN 16, 2015
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has notes of bread and sweet grain with grass and light pine as well. Flavor has biscuit up front with earthy grain and a growing bitter pine note. arminjewell (9675) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 31, 2014
Pour on tap at the Happy Gnome, clear yellow pour with white head, aroma brought notes of grass, bread, cracker, into some nice earthy and spicy hops, some slight yeasty and doughy notes as well, pretty nice. Taste is nice noble hop character with spice, grass, some herbal notes into biscuit, cracker, finishing fairly dry, slightly bitter.

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2013 Tap at Bang. Clear yellow golden pour with a foamy white head. Mild caramel and earthy malt nose, a bit of grapefruit. Bitter bite right away, and it really lingers late. Not really my speed. Atom (2455) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 14, 2013
Growler from Brewpub. This growler exploded upon opening, I’ve never seen so much carbonation. Pours a very clear pale golden with a huge off-white head. Aroma of a clean caramel malt. Taste is caramel malt finishing with a nice hop bite. Not very balanced, but clean and refreshing none-the-less. Very drinkable!
