On tap. Pours a hazy dark brown with a small, creamy, long lasting, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of toasted malt, chocolate and caramel. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, chocolate, roast and light nuts with a mildly bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Nice. stevoj (5956) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 2, 2017
Draft at the Yard House. Dark brown pour, small ring of tan head. Faint chocolate aroma. Taste too is kind of weak, some nuts and chocolate, but not enough to raise this brew up. Kind of sweet too. wombat23 (2165) - Texas, USA - MAR 23, 2017

This is a pretty solid brown ale. No nutty flavors, but some hints of chocolate. Easy to drink. Makes me want to go back and give Banger another try. katrinaez (2411) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 11, 2016

On tap at Banger Brewing. A very tasty beer with a medium body, light roasted flavours and a touch of spice. slowrunner77 (13368) - Reno, Nevada, USA - JUL 17, 2016
Chestnut brown, aroma and flavor slightly more caramel than chocolate and roast, slightly bitter and sweet. Ok. tmoreau (4805) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JUN 14, 2016
On tap at the brewery bar, and shaker served displaying a black/brown hue with a touch of ruby highlighting, a presentable layer of light tan head foam that expeditiously reduced to a more persistent ring & film, and spots & streaks of lacing. The aroma expressed toast & roast, with a bit of char, cocoa, a touch of caramel sweetness, and some malty creaminess. Medium bodied, with appropriate carbonation, the taste was similar notes, amped by a moderate roasted & earthy bitterness. Tasty, clean, maybe served a bit too cold, but showed a heartiness that was somewhere between a Brown and a Porter.
