Quite the hearty dose of jalapeños and serranos in the nose. Cloudy yellow, more hef than American wheat, which is cool. Light body with minor afterburner. Not as much spice as expected from the nose, but full flavored peppers and light banana and clove. It’s extremely difficult to rate such a strange beer. It’s obviously a german hefeweizen, but the jalapeno flavor is so apparent and I could never have known that these flavors could match. On tap @ the brewery. Bright lemony yellow, hazy. Green jalapeño aroma, sweaty wheat. The nose had me bracing for a firey peppery mouthful, but there is balance here. Pretty good interesting here like and some jalapeño. Aroma of a here with some green pepper. Mostly banana some jalapeño. Good thing not too much spice so drinkable in quantity unlike a lot of other chili beers.

Aroma mild with faint heat of heat from peppers. Muted.
Top: fizzy, light top.
Base: hazy gold.
Palate : medium thin bodied with average carbonation. Thinner walls. Average finish.
Taste: another gimmick. Feel of pepper covering wheat with its presence.

Good if you like jalapeños. Wheat and banana. And tones of bell pepper but not to overpowering nice different beer. Finishes well.
