Jalepeno Hefeweizen. Our award winning beer that is a hefeweizen and is infused with freshly roasted jalepenos and serrano peppers. It was a vibrant pepper aroma with a subtle spice on the palate.

On tap at Banger Brewing. One of the better chilli beers getting around, the heat is very present but not crazy and goes well with the wheat. Good stuff.

Quite the hearty dose of jalapeños and serranos in the nose. Cloudy yellow, more hef than American wheat, which is cool. Light body with minor afterburner. Not as much spice as expected from the nose, but full flavored peppers and light banana and clove. Many brews here that work in hot weather, and this is one.

It’s extremely difficult to rate such a strange beer. It’s obviously a german hefeweizen, but the jalapeno flavor is so apparent and I could never have known that these flavors could match. Very interesting, but is it good? I still don’t know.

On tap @ the brewery. Bright lemony yellow, hazy. Green jalapeño aroma, sweaty wheat. The nose had me bracing for a firey peppery mouthful, but there is balance here. A heathy peppery character with surprisingly little heat. Actually quite nice, provided you like peppery beers.

Pretty good interesting here like and some jalapeño. Aroma of a here with some green pepper. Mostly banana some jalapeño. Good thing not too much spice so drinkable in quantity unlike a lot of other chili beers.

Where and how: at brewery (sampler)
Aroma mild with faint heat of heat from peppers. Muted.
Appearance :
Top: fizzy, light top.
Base: hazy gold.
Palate : medium thin bodied with average carbonation. Thinner walls. Average finish.
Taste: another gimmick. Feel of pepper covering wheat with its presence.

(En fût à la brasserie sur Fremont): Une combinaison que je connais bien avec une base plus Helles que Hefe et un mordant raisonnable du Jalapeño. Réussi.

4 July 2015, tap at Banger Brewing. Hazy bright dirty yellow. Nose is hot peppers and nothing else. Med body and mildly fizzy. Very interesting. Tastes like a jalapeño but it isn’t hot at all. Nice enough.

Interesting to give a shot. The jalapeño is noticable, but not blow your socks off. Tap

Good if you like jalapeños. Wheat and banana. And tones of bell pepper but not to overpowering nice different beer. Finishes well.
