Poured into a teku showing dark translucent caramel brown with a finger of clean white foam. The nose shows sweet corn and caramel malts. The palate shows a lot of corn sweetness and hints of bready maltiness. Smooth, full bodied and evenly carbonated. Barely perceivable bitterness on finish but the sweetness returns once more on the finish.

660 ml bottle at indian restaurant. Pale golden with white head. Smell is light grain. Taste is light grain and malt, a little citrus. Semi dry with low bitterness and high carbonation.

660ml bottle at my local curry house. Drank about 100ml of it. Urinary infection dark yellow. Hard citrus aroma with pickling juice. Strong alcohol taste. Malt. Sour citrus. More malt. Unbalanced. Overcarbonated palette. Poor. Exceptionally so.

660ml Bottle at Purbani, Wolverhampton. Hazy deep golden with a thin carbonated head, off malty and pear taste. Not the best lager I’ve had by a long shot.

660ml bottle. Golden pour with soft white head. Very, very mild and smooth. Not much hops to comment on. However, the general blandness went well with the curry I was having, so it serves a purposes, but not one outside that very specific meal.

ManVsBeer (10792) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2014
Bottle from Cheers Liquor Store, Todmorden. Pale gold, no head. Has a lingering sweet lager with a carbonation and a small spice.
