JohnRMurdoch (4867) - Glasgow, SCOTLAND - JUN 22, 2010
UPDATED: OCT 20, 2010 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Bright hoppy, grassy aroma. Slightly cloudy pale yellow colour. Sharp fresh and dry hoppy flavour. Watery texture. A bit bland but quite refreshing. A reasonable pale lager in a beautiful bottle. Perfect match for curry

Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 22, 2011
0.66l massive green bottle. Pours a clear light golden body with a bubbly white head leaving small lacings. Nose is mildly malts, cactus, and some weak hops. Tastes quite fresh and malty, medium+ carbonated and medium- bodied. Ends quite sweet and fruity with cactus flavors. Not to exciting, but quite suitable for a spicy dinner.

0.66 L bottle (5.0% abv) from bestillingsutvalget Vinmonpolet. Low, dirty-blond head. Pure gold colored body. Unfresh, stale hops up front, paired with a nasty smell of nail polish remover. Some sweet honey-scented malts reveals after a while. Taste has a cloying and sugary malt-sweetness. Cardboardy, skunky hops in the backbone. Buttery mouthfeel. Sweetish malts and harsh bitterness in the ending. This beer is not good! Maybe something went wrong during the journey from the Bay of Bengal?

660ml bottle in a curry house. Golden with a faint honey-malt nose, light malt and slightly beery body. OK but dull.

Good lager head from this beer but with a very plain and non-descript aroma. The flavour is pleasantly hopped with a malt undertone, making the beer a very smooth lager/pilsner. The best beer that I have found to accompany an Indian meal.

Bullit (4637) - Burgos, SPAIN - JUL 23, 2011
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Expected a country tick, but brewed in bloody England. Clear golden colour, foamy white head. Nose is sweet malted, corn. Flavour is sweet malty, corn, little bitterness, a bit skunked.

Bottle @ Nieuw jaars borrel 2014, courtesy of jmgreenuk. Thanks for sharing this Marvel. Clear golden pour, thin white head. Aroma is skunky, grainy and malty. Really boring actually and that goes for the flavour also actually.
