A true blonde! Brewed with dwarf Hilary hops, the initial fruitiness is complimented by a pronounced hoppiness in the finsih.

Cask. Pours golden brown with white top. Aroma bland. Taste similar with some fruit to start and a gradually souring finish. A forgettable beer in a very crowded field.

Fra cask/gravity på Plymouth CAMRA Beer and Cider Festival 24 Sep 16. Varm gylden. Filmskum. Lett ferskenaroma. Smaken tørket frukt. Syrlig bitter avslutning.

Gravicask on the second day at Plymouth Camra Beer Festival 2016. Bright, warm golden body. Patchy lacing, dotted spots on the glass. Modest peachy aroma. Mild malt-fruity flavours of peaches, bread and lemony hops. Distant bitter end. Fair enough, does not stand out in any way (Shared with Finn, 24.09.2016).

1/2 at the Gateshead Beer Festival. 1st of the day. Light straw coloured hazy body, thin white skim. Fruity aroma, some kiwi and apple flavour, nice hops. Refreshing, dry finish.

Cask at the Watford Beer Festival 2013. Cringeworthy misogyny aside, this beer poured a hazy golden colour with a scummy white head. Aroma of peaches, candy sugar and floral hops. Sweet mango and toffee flavours, balanced with some dry straw. Finish was maple syrup, biscuity malt and fruit salad.

Cask gravity at Berry Walmer. Golden beer. Tasty good condition. Decent. It’s a decent blond

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2014 Cask @ Bridge Bier Huis, Burnley. Clear golden with a creamy head and a fairly smooth texture. It’s a lager style ale with a bland malt in aroma and taste.

tombyars (1744) - Saltcoats, SCOTLAND - OCT 3, 2011
Tasted this bitter at the Paisley Beer Festival in April 2005. Cask, gravity dispense. Pale opaque straw in colour with an open white head. Slight citric note of grapefruit in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and poor lacing. Pale malts give a cereal wheaty taste with fruity citrus note of grapefruit. Good hop presence with a dry bitter aftertaste. Finish is rather dry and astringent. An ok bitter but nothing exceptional.

niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2011
Newcastle Town FC Beer Festival. A fruity start to a well hopped golden ale. It certainly the time of year for this type of beer and this does not disappoint.

RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 10, 2010
[email protected] Beer Festival 2010. Vibrant golden beer with a fairly strong smooth head. The aroma is mildly dry, and the flavour is smooth and dry with fruity elements. Overall a reasonable dry and fruity beer.
