COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle: Filtered
Ingredients: Water, Malted Barley (2-Row British and Australian), Hops (Yakima Clusters and Styrian Goldings), Yeast, Sugar, Corn Syrup
Launched: 1961
Banks Beer, the beer of Barbados, is a premium pilsner style lager with a smooth, fresh aroma and a medium alcohol content. Banks is brewed from a pure classic blend of 2-Row British and Australian malted barleys deliciously flavored by Yakima Clusters and the noble Styrian Goldings aroma hops. It is however Barbados’ water, naturally filtered through limestone rock, along with our own special strain of yeast, which give Banks Beer its unique Bajan character and distinctive quality. Consistently the #1 choice among beer drinkers in Barbados since it was first produced in 1961.

hman43 (1588) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - JUL 17, 2014
it pours a light golden color with a white fluffy head. It doesn’t have a strong aroma with a lot of definition although there is grass that is evidence. The taste is okay, crisp, and relatively smooth on the way down.

12oz bottle @ home. Clear gold with a persistent fine white cap. Not much going on aroma wise, very light malt, old carpet. Flavors are light malt, corn, again not much happening. Very short finish. If you keep this really cold it’s not too bad and suitable for outdoor quaffing.

330 ml bottle. Bright medium gold color. Frothy white head disappates quickly. Faint grainy, metallic nose. Light sweet grainy malt flavor is highly carbonated. Sweet and sticky mouthfeel. Light syrupy malt finish.

rodbod (357) - Motherwell, SCOTLAND - MAY 5, 2017
Bottle. Pours a pale crystal clear gold, with white short lived froth. Nose ain’t much, a little caramel, a touch of toast. Taste is almost entirely absent, but it is at least very clean. I suppose it serves a purpose as a cooler or thirst quencher.

Bland with minimal excitement for the palate. Not much aroma or head. That said, it’s fairly refreshing. Pretty standard lager.

Shared 33cl bottle. Clear pale straw, white head. Corn, hay, grains for the aroma and taste. Very mild all around.

Aroma: typical cheap lager; cereal and corn syrup; Appearance: clear straw with billowy white head that disappears quickly; Taste: follows nose with even more sweetness; Palate: light bodied with weak finish; Overall: as expected.

Clear , pale , yellow color. Medium-sized, white head . Malt , some grass and metal in aroma . Sweet , malty taste . A rather poor version of pale lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cybercat (5837) - Georgia, USA - OCT 6, 2016
Pours wan straw yellow with a thick but effervescent eggshell head. Aroma delivers yeasty and malty tones, not spectacular but acceptable. Malty flavor is fairly typical, a little fruit and a bit of hops, average but enjoyable. Mouthfeel features so-so body and OK fizz. Well, it’s another rating.
