Cask @ Hedley Verity, Leeds. Deep clear golden with a creamy head. Has a strength, but it’s fruity pale ale texture is nevertheless well stated, and the ale is full-bodied. Towey1989 (3664) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2016
Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear amber colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of orange, passion fruit, some grapefruit, a little peach, slight bready malts and subtle grassy hops. Taste of orange, passion fruit, peach, some grapefruit, slight bready malts and subtle grassy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A bittersweet, bready, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. Surprisingly sweet and citrusy but with some bitterness in the finish, even more surprisingly from malty flavours. A solid APA. imdownthepub (15752) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 2, 2016
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Amber with white head. Mid roasted malts with a toasty, bready note, some sweeter tropical fruit hints, some bitterness and a touch resinous. Pretty reasonable. BlackHaddock (8141) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2016
Hand-pulled pint in a Birmingham Wetherspoons on 30th June 2016. Amber pour, with a white, lasting head. Decent enough brew with a tropical fruit feel to it, leaning towards citrus flavours as it warmed a little. Started semi-sweet and slowly got more bitter as I got into it more. Cask at JDW. Hazy amber shade. Lasting white head. Pithy orange and grapefruit hoppy notes in effect. Slick, bitter, quaffable taste. Decent enough.
