Cask: Special - Wetherspoon Spring 2013 Beer Festival
This beer is a compelling combination of crops, with the palest barley malt, malted wheat and golden oats creating a pale beer with a complex flavour and heart-warming, hoppy ending.

Cask in #53, Buxton. Pours golden with a white head. grain and citrus flavour. Maybe a slight pineapple hint. Dull.

Hippoman (646) - Durham, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2015
Cask at John Duck, Durham, £2.50/pint Looks great with pale golden colour and mid-sized, smooth white head that leaves good rings on the glass as you drink. Aroma is faint, straw and tropical fruits. The taste is light and grainy, with a thin body and a pleasing bittersweet finish that prevents it from being insipid like many other beers in the style.

VastActiv (7734) - Oulu/Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 2, 2014
Cask at Kitty’s, Helsinki. Colour is clear orange with small bubbly white head. Aromas and flavours: Sweetness, toffee, some fruits and malts.

mjs (7768) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 2, 2014
(Cask at Kitty’s, 20140602) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was small, white and it lasted long. Aroma had toffee, grass, earth and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were toffee, earth, malts, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste had toffee and bitterness. Too harsh brew.

AshtonMcCobb (7027) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 30, 2014
On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - golden orange with a decent head. Nose - a bit elusive but some citrus and definitely some cereal as it suggests. Taste - plenty more cereal but a good amount of lemon that clears the palate. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - imminently drinkable even if it doesn’t hit the high notes.

Mr_Pink_152 (5753) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - MAY 21, 2014
Pint at the swan almondsbury, Bristol. Pale golden colour with a small white head. Slight sweetness, and not much else.

Beese (3289) - Watford, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 25, 2014
Cask at the Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 10 April 2013. Poured a light golden colour with a tight white head. Aroma of some light soft fruit, mild straw and corn flakes. Flavours were very light; some grain, caramel and apricot. Finish was grassy hop bitterness, earthy and slightly soapy.

Hand pulled at the Boldmere Oak, very pale ale easy to drink with a thin head and biscuit aroma, average session ale

suprchunk (2994) - EffOff, Florida, USA - MAY 10, 2013
Golden pour. Slim white head. Painted lacing. Big malt and a flowery hop aroma. Bitter hop taste. Nice malt backbone. Very nice pint. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
