Hazy golden color with a white head. Fresh ok aroma. Moderate intensity. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Ok balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Malty, grapefruit hoppy, fruity and herbal/grassy flavor. Decent easy drinkable stuff.Holmen1 (6142) - Stavanger, NORWAY - MAY 20, 2015

On tap at Baran Cafe, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Nose brings resinous hops and orange rinds. Flavour is along the same lines, with big resinous hops, orange rinds and citrus zest. There is some residual sweetness here as well. Not bad, but not my type of IPA. Tap, Baran Cafe, Bergen, 27/10/14. Thin lidded honey amber. Dank cheesy lime on the turn, dirty mop water aroma. Bonus point. Mint, cheese, good limey curry leaf, hints of grenadine and Pimms. Decent but more old school English IPA than US. yngwie (17102) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 16, 2014
On tap at the brewpub. A lightly hazy beer with a creamy, off-white head. Golden in color. The aroma has a touch of wort, but it’s mostly on the piney, orange side. Some hop pellets. The flavor has a pleasant bitterness, a tad too much sweetness, and quite a lot of dms. Orange peel and pine cones. Full body, soft carbonation. Bitter and citrusy finish. Pity about the dms, else it’s a decent beer. 140616

A very good beer from the small Fana brewery. Better than most of the big ones.
Keywords : Fresh,Sweet, full body, slightly bitter. Palme (4812) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 1, 2013
On tap @ Baran. This is a cloudy orange-copper colored one with a nice medium sized lacing just off-white top. Fruity and sweet on the nose with some vindusspylerveske, red fresh strawberries, grassy hay and yeah, I like this. It’s right below average on the carbonation and the mouthfeel is soft oily. Nice easy flavors. It’s light fruity with a nice bitterness all the way. Light apricot, some bitter nuts, watermelon and slightly lemony citrus. Easy drinking, sessionable and not bad at all. 26.01.2013 Inbreak (6319) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - OCT 25, 2013

Nøytral lett fruktig lukt med preg av malt, humle, smørkaramell, vått korn, høy, gras, tørka frukt. Lett tørr beisk smak med preg av malt, humle, våt papp, beiskt gras, vått korn, tørka frukt, smørkaramell. Middels bitterhet og lengde. Bedre lykke neste gang...
On tap at Baran Cafe, Bergen. Pours hazy dark golden/amber with a big white head. Aroma is dark malty, honey, moderate fruity grapefruit. Taste of dusty malts, cellar and earthy notes, moderate bitter fruity, a nice try to brew a malt oriented IPA. Light soapy and piney hops towards the end, which is rather short lived. Moreish.
