Bottle - Pours a a nice brown, big bubbly white head that dissipates to a light lacing. Aroma belgian yeast, dark grains with some malts, all spice and a bit of nuttiness. Good carbonation - bubbly on the palate - some sweetness probably from the honey but a dry aftertaste with some yeast and molasses.

Jet black colour with medium brown foam. Aromas slight tart and super fruity of blackcurrant, redcurrant, strawberries, cherries with light notes of banana and custard. Palate, medium body with a smooth texture, well carbonated leaving cooling fresh finish. Taste, sweet of dried fruits, sweet malts and somewhat of sticky cough syrup and mint. Overall, rather interesting and unusual one smells awesome fruity and lively, palate bit of a fizz bomb could do with more body and taste like a cough dried fruits and medicine leaving very fresh minty toothpaste/medicine finish. Definitely winters beer, and do recommend!

Piwo lekko metne w kolorze ciemny brazowy nalewa sie z gesta drobnopecherzykowa piana. Ewidentne estry i fenole z belgijskich drozdzy polaczone z karmelem i suszonym owocami. W smaku dochodza nuty czekoladowo-palone. Goryczka i wysycenie na srednio niskim poziomie.

Dark beautiful color, foam high with bubble and long falling off. Aroma of caramel and alcohol. In the taste, spices are added, something similar to coriander, alcohol is not so severe, slightly burning and sweet.

Bottle @ home. Dark brown colour, white foam. Nose is sweet malty, caramel, honey, plums. Light notes of iron. Ok.

vinivini (3000) - Gomel, BELARUS - APR 26, 2017
Pours deep brown with ruby highlights. Lush airy ivory coloured head. Stays for a few minutes. Well-lacing. The aroma is esters, caramel, dried fruit, minor chocolate & coffee. A hint of spicy hops. Medium body. Lively carbonated. Medium sweet flavour. Rich dark malts. Dried fruit. Chocolate. Coffee. Complex. Low bitterness still well detectable hops. Well hidden alcohol. Good.

nathanvc (712) - Brugge, BELGIUM - APR 24, 2017
Pours hazy dark brown with a small off-white head. The aroma contains malt, honey, chocolate and butterscotch - a bit one-sided. It tastes medium sweet and light bitter. Slick texture, fizzy carbonation, short finish.

Cristobal37 (1234) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 14, 2017
Dark brown a little head. Fruity and spicy yeast, sugary malt aroma. Light bodied, sugary cherry coke, some medicinal herb in the finish. Decent, nothing wrong with it, but kind of a run of the mill belgian ale. Mostly balanced but not so remarkable.

surething_ii (791) - Šenkvice, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - APR 8, 2017
Bottle from Tesco. Classic Belgian aroma -. Color is deep brown with a little head. Higher voltage is visible overlapped by dark chocolate. Like not my cup of beer but okay.
