Bottle shared at Mikkeller and Friends. Thanks Juan! Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige foam. Lots of roasted coffee and chicory on the nose. Toasted almond milk and more roasted chicory on the palate. Bitter and dry finish.

Poured from a bottle. Color is murky brown with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate, malt, with a slight hint of toffee. Good head retention but the flavor is a little watered down for a porter.

12oz goblet at the Parque Kennedy location pours a murky, deep brown with some ringing, cream colored head. Nose has molasses, malt, a little cola, a little coffee, a little raw chocolate. Flavor is solid, roasty but not bitter or overpowering, bread, turbinado sugar, molasses, a little coffee, a little cocoa powder. Medium bodied and dry in the finish. Very well done.

In my point of view, it is a good porter and probably the best beer from this brewery. The color is a dark black color and the foam is heavy and a bit creamy. The taste is well-balanced, malty with hop and roasted coffee, bitter at the final taste.

humlelala (1348) - DENMARK - DEC 23, 2015
(33 cl bottle from Chivay; Lote FV; BBD: February 17th 2016) Poured at fridge temperature into a footed sampling glass reveals a black body with a one-finger toffee head. Decent retention. Aroma is toasted malt with woody, herbal notes. Oily texture bordering on creamy, soft carbonation, medium body and a lingering, roasted finish. Flavour is roasted with a degree of ascerbicity. Rustic.
