Ticking bottle from Total Wine. Clear yellow color, scant head. Aroma of way overripe stone fruit. Taste is thin medicinal cider. bhensonb (15194) - Woodland, California, USA - DEC 12, 2007
Rather different sort of aroma; maybe a bit caramel. Solid amber color with wholly non-retentive head. Starts quite sweet. Near medium body with mild carbonation. The finish is rather caramel sweet with no detectable bitter. It’s ok, but ... On the other hand it is incredibly better than Bud!! Might be a little bitter building over time. Certainly not offensive. Ratman197 (14834) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - JAN 24, 2008
Bottle poured a clear amber with a small diminishing amber head. Aromas of carmel and light vinegar like aroma ( possibly sorghum?). Palate was lioght bodied and crisp. Flavors of carmel, straw and a light hint of fruitiness with a crisp ligfhtly bitter finish. DSG (14784) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 20, 2013
Bottle sample at a tasting at avrashi’s place. Thanks kerenmk. As "Bard’s The Original Sorghum Malt Beer". Hazy golden with no head. Weird cereals aroma. Very unpleasant weird cereals flavor with some sweetness and a sour edge. Light-bodied. Yuck.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a small white head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is corn malt and wheat. Similar flavor to the aroma. Not much going on with this one. Tmoney99 (14483) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 11, 2006
Bottle. Poured golden color with an average frothy head that diminished quickly and left fair lacing. Medium sweet grainy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium sweet syrupy flavor with a bitter sweet finish of short duration. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 2, 2006
(12oz bottle, bottled 5/30/06) Clear apple juice body topped by small but frothy off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, bread, herbal tea, peach. Taste is medium sweet, bread, lime, some nectarine. Light body. Not saying that it’s particularly good, but it’s much better than New Grist, another sorghum beer, which I tried immediately before this one. Bought at Party Source, July 05. Lightly hazy blonde with brownish chunks. Rather neutral malt aroma with slight marks of burned rubber (*the bottle was heat shocked in my trunk). In mouth, rather refreshing mix of light crisp grass with decent bitterness for the style. Not bad considering its gluten free. A notch above Messagère. 12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Glen Allen, VA. Utica label. Pours an amber color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma is sugary caramel with some earthy, gummy notes. Taste is very similar.... sugar and caramel with some light honey. Very sweet but not cloying. Thin bodied and watery. Not too unpleasant.
