Bottle @ pre-GBBF shindig, August 2009. Barearts can be rather hit and miss, which is part of their charm, but this one was a definite winner. First of all it was in excellent condition - lively without being over-carbonated - with a lasting white head. Colour is mid gold tending towards amber. The Cascades are quite evident and provide a good hoppy bite, with plenty of citrus and a flowery back note. Good bitterness backed up by light biscuity malt. Nicely balanced and very drinkable. Not entirely sure what’s traditional about it but certainly very good.

Gazy gold with a decent white head. Good slightly earthy malt with a good lick of caramel. Tasty grassy U.S. hoppage with a decent amount of bitterness. Nice and dry. Basic but enjoyable.

Unclear medium yellow amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, light to moderate yeasty, nectar. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.
Slightly hazy golden ith a lasting off-white head. Grainy malt aroma with citrus notes. Dry and grainy, quite bitter flavour. SilkTork (5738) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - AUG 6, 2009
Chriso Shindig Aug 2009. American hops. Quite thin - refreshing, pale malt, soft fruit. A drinkable and tasty beer.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, fruits, nectar, and some mild grassyness as well. Flavour is quite much the same along with caramel malts.
