Aroma: Grain, light fruit, apple/pear, straw
Appearance: Clear blonde color, very light
Flavor: Light flavor, but tasty, good fruity/grainy character, and mild hop character as well
Palate: Clean and thin, light body
This beer was OK, had a decent amount of flavor for the style, my qualm with it would be that I found it to be thin and light, but other then that it was pretty decent, not a great beer, but drinkable.
pretty average, pretty light. Has a crisp taste to it, bit of a malt bite. jcwattsrugger (12559) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - AUG 25, 2008
on tap-pours a thin white head and pale yellow color. Aroma is grain, secondary (saaz) hops. Taste is grain secondary (saaz) hops, thin. Nate (4296) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 22, 2008
From draught sample at brewpub. Mild pilsner aroma with bit of herbal hops to it. Pale yellow clear with thin white lacing head. Light body with light-medium carbonation. Starts with a bit of pilsner malt sweetness and light acidity. Mellow with mild bitter hops finish. Would appeal to light/pale lager drinkers as a crossover. Clean finish; a bit soft. dpjuart (1112) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 31, 2008
Draft Sample at brewpub. Pours gold with small white head, rimming. Nose is slightly corny with mild butter along with some grainy malts and slight fruit. Taste is light malt, slight butter with a crisp hop ending. Nice lager.

Had this beer for the first time on draft at Frederick’s Oktoberfest. The aroma is soft but nice, with some citrus, grainy, and fruit hop scents, and a bit of malt. It has a pretty clear, light gold color with a small to average foamy white head. A nice flavor, mostly sweet with some fruity tones, but also a bit sour/bitter for contrast. It is on the lower side of the carbonation spectrum; not dry, some wetness. Overall a good light beer option that has pretty good flavor. Mirage52 (147) - New Market, Maryland, USA - MAY 15, 2006
UPDATED: JAN 28, 2009 On tap at the MBF. Poured a darker golden color than I wasn’t expecting. I expected this to be a light golden/blonde ale. The taste was more in line with what I was expecting -- it was somewhat light and smooth with a crisp finish free of any offensive hoppy aftertastes. I enjoyed it. The last time I went to B&H Restaurant I didn’t like any of their beers. I will know what to get when I got back. If only they would lower their prices... drkilmer (35) - Myersville, Maryland, USA - AUG 19, 2004
This is a very, very nice lager. Very light straw in color, with a white head. Cold and crips like a lager should be, but not so light as to be ineffectual. Simply a nice, clean, tasty lager. Good beer! argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 11, 2004
Near clear, just a hint of straw -- lighter than any body I’ve ever seen, including low carb macros. Aroma is mild sweet, light grassy/spicy. Taste is medium sweet, some cereal, faint grassy/spicy. Very light body. hopscotch (11419) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - SEP 4, 2003
UPDATED: APR 29, 2007 Draft... Crystal clear, light yellow lager. Creamy, white head with no lacing. Doesn’t matter; the head lasts forever.
The aroma is very subtle. Toffee and straw in the nose with notes of white pepper and a hint of pear.
Malty with plenty of malty caramel flavor and hopped just enough for balance.
Light-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Short, bitter, clean finish.
