Making a return appearance, get it while you can! Nothin wrong with this one.. Lots of citrus, hops and juicy bitterness. Really pretty awesome!! strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - OCT 15, 2010
Strong floral aroma with some citrus hints. Deep amber color, thick white head that lasts. Full body, strong finish with all the bitterness that is stated (100 IBU). Very good beer... Strongly recommend. scraff (2121) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 28, 2010
Samples - Union Mills Beer Fest (9.7 ABV) - Dark amber, creamy off white head. Peachy pine and dank floral-citrus aromas ride a sturdy caramel malt undertaking. Flroal-pine bitterness is well balanced on soft swirls of toffee throughout. Full bodied, soft carboantion, bittersweet finish. A well made Double IPA which did not disappoint... maniac (3800) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - SEP 27, 2010

Overly sweet, with lots of astringent, iced tea caramel that totally kills any chance of this being a good IIPA. Not enjoyable.

Aroma: A bit thin, but pretty nice, citrus hops, grapefruit, a bit of pine, a touch of yeast
Appearance: Hazy dark orange color, lots of lace
Flavor: Nice tasty hop flavor, good bitterness, really solid hoppy flavor
Palate: Medium-full in body, thick and dry, nice mouthfeel
This was a pretty solid brew for sure. I like this all around, nice flavor, nice nose that was just a drop thin, and a really nice feel. The best thing I tried at Barley and Hops by far was this beer, well done with this one.
Enjoyed this beer in early October at the brewery, and found it to be the best I have had there to date. The beer had a clear copper-amber color with a very big, foamy tan head that had good retention. The aroma had a lot of hop characters, primarily citrus that was heavy in grapefruit, and some piney and earthy hops too, with subtle barley. A big, bitter, hoppy taste that was very heavy; some sour aspects too, no sweetness. It had a full, thick body with a drying effect, and a full, clingy feel in the mouth and throat; a touch of creamyness too. A high quality beer.
