Enjoyed a pint of this beer at the brewpub. It had a semi-clear dark amber/light copper color with a modest foamy and bubbly white head that had shorter retention, and lighter cling and lacing. Its aroma had a malty caramel and toffee mixture along with some lighter earthy and straw hops tones. The taste was a somewhat sweet malty caramel and toffee blend along with subtle earthy and grainy bitterness. The beer was fairly wet and semi-full with a clingy mouthfeel, low-to-average carbonation and life, and a slightly watery characteristic. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 20, 2013
