Enjoyed this seasonal beer at tap the brewpub in a pint glass. The aroma is a mixture of pine and floral hops with some traces of barley, molasses, and caramel; a "Christmas smell" as Eric noted. The beer had a clear, dark copper-brown color with a creamy tan head of average size. The head had decent retention and fairly good cling. The taste was sweet with the presence of pine and citrus and a touch of caramel, with a slightly sour effect too. It was full-bodied and a bit creamy, with some cling in the mouth. There were lower amounts of carbonation and a detectable presence of alcohol. Definitely a good seasonal brew.
