September 2016 - Bottle share at Leightons, with many thanks to Kenny. As Barley BB9 Birra, 9.0%, BB Feb 2019. Hazy orange, still, foamy off-white head, light lacing. Aroma is apple and varnish, booze. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is light malt, biscuity, touches of lemon, some drying booze. Quite thin and doesnt deliver too much at the ABV. Just OK. (2.9)

Leightons flat clearance. Hazy gold beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Airy malts, mildly sweet. Mild wood. Sweet dessert wine fruits. Little spice. Crystallised fruits. Light semi dry finish. Tasty enough. Maybe more time would benefit.

75cl bottle shared at Leightons garbage share. Many thanks to Ken for this one. It pours a clean golden color with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and lightly tangy and boozy with notes of red berries and orange marmalade. Taste is also sweet and fruity with notes of caramel, booze, red berries and melon. Medium to full bodied with good carbonation. Overall, tasty

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Kenny. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds ripe citrus, pale wood, meringue. Medium sweet flavour with pale bread, ripe citrus, tangerin meringue, low bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, with bready pale malts, more ripe citrus, dough, meringue. Enjoyable.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours light hazy orange - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, stinky, pear, apple, stewed orange, nectarine, dried mango, sugary filth and loads of sugary candy. The taste is sweet, sticky, sugary, sweet white wine, candied fruits, nectarine, peach, icing sugar, booze and wood with a sweet, sticky finish. Medium - full body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Far too sweet and sticky for the likes of me. Fair.

Bottle split at Bespin, thanks to Kenny, 19/09/16. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is sweet malts, caramel, light fruit esters, ripe fruit, subtle barrel. Taste comprises sweet malts, caramel, toffee, light spice, dark fruit rinds, candy bar. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok easy drinking BW but lacks complexity for the ABV.

Oranjekleurig bier met een beige schuimkraag. Aroma: karamel, matig hoppig, witte druif. Smaak: zwaar zoet met lichte bitterheid die goed aanhoudt. Mondgevoel is ruim met zachte koolzuur en zoetige afdronk.

vipinvelp (3974) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 22, 2015
PINT tasting. Not a very nice aroma, glue like. Opaque golden, lacing white foam. Mainly a sweet taste, looks like the spirit has gone from this beer. Alcohol is there, also some oak wood notes. (Arnhem 201512)

Color arancio, intenso profumo di frutta, ha corpo medio, e sono evidenti al palato:caramello, frutta, alcol e un po di arancio. Finale piuttosto secco. Non male ma mi sarei aspettato di pi da una birra di questa categoria e prezzo.
