Superbly brewed, great full body with an almost nitro feel to it. Tastes like it has awesome pancakes in it. Drank at back pedal portland

Draught. Looks exactly like a jar of stout should, black with tan head. Malty aroma with sweetness. Full bodied with malt, syrup and coffee notes. Not too malty. marcus (10681) - Sacramento, California, USA - AUG 7, 2016
On tap at Apex. Pours near black with a thick tan head and a strong treacle aroma. There is a medium-bodied dark molasses flavor with a fairly bitter anise finish. Zeswaft (1783) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 4, 2016
Tap. Dark black with tan head. Rich chocolate aroma. Toasty malts. Chocolate dominates with some supporting coffee flavors. Intense flavor for a low abv stout. Sarlacc83 (2290) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 18, 2016
Tap at Apex.
A: Pitch black with a thin, everlasting cappuccino head.
N: Milk chocolate, vanilla, brown sugar, toffee, baker’s chocolate, hints of coffee, earth and loam, baked biscuit, molasses, and a hint of woodiness. Marshmallow to round it out.
T: Quite sweet, light bitterness to round it out.
M: Medium body, fizzing carbonation, no alcohol.
O: A very good sweet stout. Doesn’t overdo things, but it certainly has the breakfast qualities you’d want in a beer with this name. Destroys Founders’ version.

Draught @ Green Dragon, Portland, OR. Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of roasty malts, coffee, cocoa, vanilla and hops. Taste is smooth, slightly roasty and hoppy with some vanilla, coffee, cocoa, chocolate and oatmeal. Finish is smooth, slightly roasty and sweetish with loads of coffee, vanilla and cocoa. Pretty good and balanced. djd07 (15547) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAY 1, 2016

On tap at The Festival of the Dark Arts - Very smoky coffee aroma. Roasty again in the mouth with a fairly decent bitterness. I like this, flavorful but mellow. stevoj (5587) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 20, 2016
Growler closeout from Albertsons. What a deal! Nice fluffy head, dark brown body. Coffee bitterness in the aroma, roast grains/burnt toast and semi-sweet chocolate in the flavor. Almost chewy body. Big, thick, flavorful stout. mcberko (18981) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 23, 2015
On tap at Growler Guys, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of oats, some roast and a little dry cocoa. Flavour is rich, with oats, chocolate, and a touch of coffee. Full-bodied and chocolatey on the finish. Really well-designed. Excellent.
