Tap at BC. Amber with thin head. Hint of caramel aroma. A hint of seasonal spice (clove, cinnamon). Palate full but low carbonation. A tad sweet. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 27, 2017
On tap at Barley Creek. Poured a golden color with a small sized head. Yep it was a spicy winter beer - I don’t like winter spices, but I’ll give them a try, you never know ... CBStation (1) - Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 3, 2013 does not count
This lager is a bit sweet to the taste. It was served without a head which reduced its aroma. Had decent carbination but not a memorable beer. Could be rather easy drinking with wings or ribs. biznizness (1128) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 30, 2009
Draft at the brewpub. Yum, this was good. Kind of an amber lager with some holiday spicing. The underlying lager seemed to be pretty solid, which made this a very good bev. Thumbs up. bigrond (1499) - factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 28, 2008
had this in a sampler. it was better then most of the others but still nothing great.

On tap at Barley Creek. Pours a clear, medium gold with virtually no head. Extremely light aroma of caramel and malt is barely detectable. The flavor is a bit off and I’m wondering if this beer hasn’t overstayed its welcome. There is some light caramel and malt in the flavor, but there is also a distinct metallic flavor that’s telling me this beer is past its prime. Medium bodied. This is easily the poorest offering I have sampled from Barley Creek. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - APR 22, 2007
sampled at the brewpub. Amber in color. Aroma is malty, carame. Taste is smooth caramel, and sweet malts. Medium bodied, with not too much hop presence. not bad. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JAN 15, 2007
on tap-pours a light tan head and copper color. Aroma is medium malt-sweet/fruit, sugar. Taste is up front effervescence, medium malt-sweet/fruit. Light/medium body. JFURYCAT (1078) - East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 8, 2007
On tap at Barley Creek brewpub. This one has a malty sweetness which is abundant in a Speckled Hen sort of way but it has the medium-wet body of a lager and a dark-orange color. This one isn’t as creamy as the BC summerfest offering. Its darker and maltier. I can’t wait for this one to kick so the other BC beers can regain their space.
