COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Barley Days Brewery’s lush Harvest Gold Pale Ale lives up to its name. It has a bright golden body, with a creamy white head, and a surprisingly rich flavour. The mellow blend of light apple, peach, and spice aromas on a pale malt base, is complemented by a hoppy finish that is reminiscent of fresh-cut hay and autumn fields. Harvest Gold Pale Ale is a refined old world recipe with a modern day taste that will brighten your day with its sumptuous flavour.

Bottle from Brewpub Pours golden with light head which disappeared after a few seconds. For some reason, felt stronger than the 4.8% alcool. Somewhat of a citrusy finish that I can’t understand. Not a great beer. Not a Pale Ale as suggested on the label!

(Rating #7110)

Picked up a couple 341ml bottles from the brewery. Pours an average size frothy off-white head but dissipates fairly quickly and has a clear golden appearance. Lacing is ok. Aromas of light roasted malts, a bit of yeast and notes of herbal hops. Flavours are mainly on the malty side, a little bit of bitterness and also some notes of wheats and bready malts. Good retention. Average carbonation. Not bad.

pour a clear amber colour. Sort of muted aroma but there is some floral hops and big malty backbone. medium bodied, flat brew some bitter finish. It is sort of made in an english style of beer. I’ve had better.

bottle. Poured clear amber with a creamy off white head. Inviting aroma, an earthy straw note. Light body, average carbonation, tart finish. Flavour is sweet and sour, wheat malty base with some citrusy hops.

Pour at the Hole in the Wall -- awesome hallway size bar in the Junction -- is a bloody mess. Taste is sour malts, bruised hops & pennies steeped on water. Very disappointing. I’d advise a pass on this one.

From bottle. Fresh aroma, light grass some floral notes. Easy drinker, good season ale. Not particularly complex but smooth bitterness post light malt flavor.
