341ml bottle. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin head that fades quickly. Aroma faint has notes of sweet caramel, grain, and traditional hops. Taste is balanced but slightly sweet with grain, caramel, mild earthy/spicy hops, and a sweet ending. Medium body and carbonation. Very slightly syrupy in the mouth but pretty crisp and refreshing. Over pretty main stream with sweet caramel, grain, and faint hops. samzim (428) - Ontario, CANADA - APR 23, 2015
Clean sweet aroma. Clear gold colour. Malty and caramel front with mild bitterness and clean finish. Light body with high carbonation. Quite a pleasant beer. AleRider78 (1114) - Winchester, Ontario, CANADA - APR 6, 2015
On tap at Arrow and Loon. Pours no head whatsoever. Weak lacing. Has a clear golden appearance. Aromas are light malty and faint hoppyness. Flavours are on the sour fruity side. Oranges, notes of lemon and lime but quite mild. Good retention. Lively carbonation. Not bad. BreWedge (534) - goose bay, Newfoundland, CANADA - OCT 26, 2014
341 ml bottle @ The Drake Devonshire Inn Wellington. Pours a clear, light yellow with a large, big bubbled, white head. Aromas of fresh peas in a pod and light grain. Tastes are corn and pilsner style malts. Like a combination of Steamwhistle and Pilsner Urquell. Light body, effervescent bite on the tongue, medium malty finish. Pleasantly surprised by this beer.

Golden colour with a non-existent head. All malt on the nose with bready aromas being the focus. The flavour is straight forward and follows the aroma. Full bodied and not much after taste.

From 12 oz bottle pours crystal clear light gold in color, fluffy white head faded quickly. Aroma is light grainy malt, some light fruity esters and a little bit of cooked corn. Flavor grainy malt with some some light apple esters, there’s a little vegetable flavor coming through with a touch of sulfur on the end. Light body, medium carbonation, coats the inside of your mouth a little. rob6239 (677) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 21, 2013
Pours clear light golden colour with fizzy head. Aroma is a bit of earthy basement. Taste is medium body and decent mouthfeel. Freaky_tiki (1242) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 11, 2013
You can’t walk through an LCBO these days without rows of lagers sticking their legs out & trying to trip you up. And so you pick this one up. And it’s not cuz of the bottle with its sentimental meets small town cheese label. Nor is it the name of the beer -- I thought Black Creek had the monopoly on Can Hist beer titles -- either. It pours like it should: clear orange with a nice white picket fence cap. It smells like you’d fear -- that Steamwhistle pennies in warm water southern Ontario lager shtick that we can’t seem it kick. Taste is better than expected but still with that unbalanced Canadian stab at a lager. chris__hartley (445) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 13, 2013
It pours yellow with a slight reddish tint; the head is off-white and mousse-like. The aroma has notes of: bacon, toast, potatoes..? (seems like a bad joke), and a nutty note. The taste is very light bitter that finishes slightly salty; there are notes of: bread, cereal grain, honey, and toasted oats. The palate is light bodied, lightly carbonated, and has a medium malty finish. Overall, not dreadful... odd smells (not sure if it was intentional). DeanF (2456) - Alberta, CANADA - MAY 25, 2013
Pours orange with almost no head. Soft malt aroma. Flavour is watery bread with very faint hoppy notes. Wet finish. I swear I’ve had good lagers, and this definitely isn’t one of them.
