Nitrogen tap. Black in color with a very large tan head. Very small, condensed, bubbles in the foam. Looks like froth on a coffee drink that I would never order. Aroma is dark chocolate, roast coffee, and some cream. Light sweetness to it, but nice. Taste has more dark chocolate, light roast coffee, anise, with a slightly bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Goid imperial stout, and thankfully isn’t overly sweet. With that said, it is a bit light bodied than what I want in an imperial stout. bluemooner (657) - East Bethel, Minnesota, USA - DEC 27, 2011
Pours a thick, oily black with a creamy, medium brown head and some lacing. Aroma is raosty with hints of sweet chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, dark fruit, vanilla, and hints of sweet alcohol throughout and noticeably on the finish but not overwhelming. Full, creamy body with little carbonation. Fantastic effort here. ryanfolty (2545) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - NOV 26, 2011
