On tap at the brew pub into a pint glass...Pours a a clear medium copper with a light tan head, great lacing...A sweet aroma of pale malts, bread, pineapple and oats, like it...The taste is complex and tastey. Its light but makes it easy to drink, light bread on the front with a hop finish. An extremely creamy smooth taste and feel which makes it so easy to drink. The finish has a nice bite which wakes me up and has me coming back for more.
A super interesting and good tasting beer that is well worth trying if you’re at the pub. The first beer you should order. badgerben (5181) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - NOV 6, 2010
Gold color with a medium head. Citrusy hop aroma. Strong bitterness right away. Fairly abrasvie. Citrus and pine notes. Oatmeal tastes a little toasted. Light graininess. piscator34 (2534) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - OCT 25, 2010
On draft at the brewpub. Clear pale copper in colour with moderate carbonation. Sweet floral hops are upfront on the nose, balanced by a grainy pale malt note. On the palate, the citrus/floral/tropical hops are mellowed out by the slick and grainy oatmeal flavors. Medium bodied (but slick) with medium bitterness. An interesting and fairly tasty experiment. bluemooner (657) - East Bethel, Minnesota, USA - OCT 2, 2010
Pours a hazy orance with a medium white head. Aroma is very hoppy with some malt and oats. Sweet malty flavor with a lot of hop bitterness. Smooth, medium body with medium carbonation. Very interesting brew.
