Bad can with one of those aggravating, sticky-out labels. Very dark brown, but not inky. Small, sticky, medium khaki head. Perfumy, spicy, soapy aroma - smells like someone was wrestling with a large Yankee Candle around Halloween or Thanksgiving. Nutmeg/allspice bitterness, lightly sweet, light roast. This is pretty one note. Goes flat, limp body. ABC Liquors, Betton. jjgmd (2223) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - NOV 27, 2016
On the patio, Sunday evening with a stogie, pours a dark pour with an ephemeral Java colored head. Nose is deep allspice , nutmeg and pumpkin. Taste is rich chocolate malt and spicy pumpkin ...surprisingly light , smooth and velvety ! Finishes on the same tasting notes with a moderately dry long spicy finish . Nice !!!

On tap. Black in color with small beige head. Aroma of pumpkin and roasted malt. Nicely balanced pumpkin notes on top of roasty chocolate malt. Creamy mouthfeel with a sweet finish with pumpkin. Really well done. Palidor19 (3193) - Brandon, Florida, USA - SEP 12, 2016
This beer is soild, not outstanding, but souls for drinking. Nice malts that is not heavy, not hop bitterness detected, nice pumpkin flavor. High alcohol but not on the beer itself. Good for drinking but don't get distracted. This is a great fall drinker

Drank from the can see that it’s dark brown color with aromas of pumpkin spice, light roast and some earth. Flavors are roast and light earth with pumpkin pie spice. Decent but not the best pumpkin veer out there. PorterPounder (8230) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 15, 2015
Largo, Fl - on tap at Barley Mow. Sable black pour with a sticky mocha colored head that leaves plenty of lacing. Spicy aroma with some horehound candy and a touch of pumpkin spice. Fulfilling flavor with a good balance between the pumpkin pie spice and the chocolate, light licorice in the back end with some topsoil to top it of. Nice chalky mouthfeel. Pretty solid combination. Draft at BMBC. Light pumpkin pie aroma- all the expected spices. Tastes even better- one of the best pumpkin beers out there. Imo, not a porter (more a brown) but who cares. Simply delicious. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - OCT 26, 2013
Growler from Barley Mow. Pours a deep brown with an off-tan head. Nose is some pumpkin pie spices: cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, along with some roast, chocolate, and mild coffee-esque bitterness. Flavor is similar- there’s some roast, some mild pumpkin, some pumpkin pie spices, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, but there’s the chocolate and mild coffee of the porter in there as well. Medium in body and very nice overall- finishing with pumpkin pie spices and some roasty bitterness.
