Draft. Aroma is Roasted malt, light coffee grinds, barley. Medium in body what the style should be. Light lingering roast and decent chocolate malt body. Smooth and easy to drink right on style. sloshgator (770) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JAN 16, 2015
Barley Mow Nipperkin Porter is a nice twist on a great style. Roasted malt aroma coming off a dark pour with a thin but adequate head. Taste is chocolately with a healthy hop kick in the end -- not so much to make it bitter, but just something unexpected and pleasant. Nipperkin goes down smooth. Pint pour at the brewery. Deep dark and murky with a decent khaki head. Nose is roasted malts paired with more roasted malts and more roast. Really what I think of with a classic porter. Flavor is a little lighter in the roast and finishes a little sweet. Enjoyable, but only one for me.
