Golden color and creamy white load and foam, the Toccadibò reminds us once a golden strong ale. In the nose, is clean and dry with pronounced alcoholic sensations that soon evaporate leaving a magnificent triumph of fruity peach and apricot syrup that is well balanced with hints of hops flavoring reminiscent of the chives. In the palate, announced the sensation of "warming" is well contrasted by bold dryness that gives us a spicy aftertaste, clean and sharp that leads us, despite the strong alcohol content, just a second glass to be desired. More attentive the taster will not escape an unusual but pleasant hint of amaretto. Pour is deeply hazed apricot with a thin sticky bright white head...smell is band-aid, feet, and lightly spiced with hints of pear...taste is sweet and thin with some pear, apples, pepper, yeast, feet...then a slightly hoppy bitter vegetal finish...

Pours a very slightly clouded gold and straw with a decent sized off white head. Nice, if not uneventful nose. Definite sugar and spices, and everything nices. Flavor is decent. Some definite fruit tones in there. Almost like drinking beer with a juice edge. A bit thin. So is the feel. Much thinner than I would prefer, but it is still a nice beer overall. It doesn’t kill it. This is an easy drinker. Too bad the body isn’t a bit more firm.

15 DEC 07, Southeast YeHa. (A horse named Barley.) 750ml bottle. Pours golden. Grainy pale malt aroma. Pils hops in the aroma. Kinda grassy. Finishes a bit yeasty. Nice.

Appearance: Pours a hazy, pale straw-colored body with a thin white head. Smell: Pale malt aroma with hints of lemon and fresh-picked flowers. Light whiff of dough. Taste: Light maltiness with a cereal sweetness. Slight doughiness. Floral hints and a nice zip of lemony citrus. Faint bitterness on the yeasty finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Sticky mouthfeel. Drinkability: A decent, if pretty basic tripel.

Pours a hazy bright golden with a well-lacing wispy white head. Aroma of lightly sweet pale malts and some doughy yeasty notes with a touch of earthy grass. Starts lightly sweet and pale malty with some good Belgian yeasty notes. Finishes mildly bitter and very true to style. A nice tripel.

Pale orange-yellow beer, with a yellowish head. Lactic acid, a bit of wood, aroma of apples, and also some fusels. In the taste, diacetyl joins the fusels, malts, and some powerful alcohol. Well bodied (which sits bad on a tripel), alcoholwarming, slick & even oily. Rather poor, faulted beer which leans heavily on its alcoholcontent.
