Aroma: sweet malt aroma with a spicy lemon character
Flavor: sweet malt flavor, lots of bready yeast character, nice spicyness rises out of the yeast, nice bitter finish from the spicyness

Pours a hazy bright golden with a well-lacing wispy white head. Aroma of lightly sweet pale malts and some doughy yeasty notes with a touch of earthy grass. Starts lightly sweet and pale malty with some good Belgian yeasty notes. Finishes mildly bitter and very true to style. A nice tripel.

A me mi è proprio piaciuta; bevuta a Sarezzano, alla Locanda del Grue, la migliore delle tre Barley assaggiate (in compagnia del simpaticissimo birraio).

Pale orange-yellow beer, with a yellowish head. Lactic acid, a bit of wood, aroma of apples, and also some fusels. In the taste, diacetyl joins the fusels, malts, and some powerful alcohol. Well bodied (which sits bad on a tripel), alcoholwarming, slick & even oily. Rather poor, faulted beer which leans heavily on its alcoholcontent.
