I’m assuming I’ve got the right place for this. Was on tap at Daily Growler, UA as: Sexual Chocolate (pretty sure that name is taken) and described as the russian imp stout on vanilla beans and raw cacao nibs. Gotta be this: roasty, tobacco, soy, aroma. black pour, khaki head loose sheets. tastes are dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, bit more soy. thin to medium oily palate. leaves a roasty bitter tinny afters. ok, but one time sipper for me. On tap at brewpub 1. Perfect black brown thick oil pour and thick off white head that leaves a good amt of lacing. Mild coffee for an imperial and not bitter at all. A small amt of cocoa taste in there and full warm bodied stout making it a great beer overall. Just wish they cut back on the sweetness a tad. Otherwise one of the better imperial porters out there.

Alexander’s RIS on cask with cacao nibs and vanilla beans. Pint at the Alehouse on 10/8/12. Pours an opaque, darkest brown in color with a thick tan head. Malty nose with notes of roasty coffee, chocolate and light vanilla. Malty flavor with vanilla up front, then some sweet chocolate before a roasty coffee finish. Very nice. On draught at Ale House #1. The beer pours dark brownish-black with a medium foamy light beige head that dissipates slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla coffee, malt and chocolate. Medium to full body with flavors of chocolate, malt and vanilla. The finish is sweet vanilla mocha. Above average overall.
