Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a bright orange color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tart citrus, grapefruit and pine. The flavor was bitter and tart with strong grapefruit and pine notes. Long finish. Medium body. Ok. Strykzone (7624) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - AUG 9, 2014
Sampled at the brewpub. Hazy amber with an off white ring. A big bitter citrus beginning. Rye is noted but is not huge. This is dry and fairly bitter. Yeast is nice. This is well done and far from demure. thoramel (55) - Ohio, USA - JAN 15, 2014
A decent hazy and dark gold colored beer with a thin head...very attractive. Powerful aroma of pine and citrus. The taste is a pretty complex bitter with all of the flavors you expect from the smell. But not overly bitter thanks to the sweetness of the rye. A very drinkable beer and easily one of my favorites from this brewery. Hazy dark gold color with ivory head. Floral, spicy hop, skanky hop aromas with rye bread. medium body, creamy, average carbonation. Nice spicy hop flavors with chewy rye malt, pale malts----very tasty ipa Fritz123 (1597) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - APR 18, 2013
Draft at Barleys. American pint. Pours a very hazy, muddy light brown with thick white head. Moderate lacing. Aroma of pine, grass, orange, rye. Taste is complex with heavy rye, malts, pine resin, and soil. Very bitter finish. Mouth is medium carbonation and ends up slight yeast.

Poured on draft at Barleys #1. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white ring of foam. Aroma is huge citrus and just a subtle spicy presence from the rye. A little grassy, but its not very prevalent. I like the bready finish.this is one of the better rate IPAs I’ve had of late. jsquire (4597) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - SEP 23, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy orange color with a sticky white head. Big fresh hoppy nose. Lots of grapefruit rind, orange and apricot flavors. Firm malty backbone and a nice rye note. Great with the sauerkraut balls. foundmd (595) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 23, 2011
On tap at Ale House No. 1. Golden sunset orange with a small white head. Huge aroma of citrus fruit (grapefruit and tangerine) with a subtle malt background. Juicy hop flavor like freshly squeezed orange juice with a slightly spicy rye finish. Very easy drinking and quite delicious. GJF (1520) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - OCT 3, 2010
On draught at the brewpub. A good but slightly straightforward IPA with a nice grassy aroma and just a bit of that hop sourness to it.
