Cask at the brewpub. Light amber / orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is nutty, raisin, dried fruit. Flavour is composed of nutty , twiggy grains. Raisin and dried fruit. , light tangy berry. Heavy lacing in the glass. Palate us grainy and light, nice cask condition. Solid bitter.

2.2
jjsint (3604) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2015
Cask at the Ambrose Hotel, Barrow-in-Furness. Deep gold, almost copper. A bit hazy. Malty, metallic, citrus and herby aroma. Taste is bitter-sour, more metal, a bit of cooked vegetable. Fairly wrong from start to finish. Didn’t help that it was served far too cold and not quite in the best condition. But this is not a good product. No cellarmanship could make this work.

3.3
RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - JUN 28, 2014
Cask the 1761 Cockermouth. Malty and bready ruby-brown beer. Full flavoured, with a nutty palate and a rich berry flavoured finish, strawberry aromas develop late on. Improves with progress.
